Volunteer Groups
Our motto is "the more the merrier!" Large groups of volunteers are what help make Walk MS a success. We are able to strategically place groups of volunteers to fill our most important needs and offer you a fun and meaningful experience. Help make Walk MS a success and invite your group to volunteer!
Group types
Whether you're friends and family or colleagues, we welcome all types of volunteer groups. We can accommodate volunteers of all ages and will place your group in the best opportunity based on your ages and our needs. Types of groups that have volunteered with us in the past include:

Groups of volunteers assist with many different jobs including:
Rest stop
Run one of our many rest/lunch stop locations. This is a fun way for groups to volunteer together. Some groups choose a theme and decorate their rest stop for the day!
Route and Finish Line Excitement
Perfect for cheerleaders, pep squads, and bands. Cheer each walker on as they reach their goal of finishing the walk. Cheer, sing, march, or play your instruments and add to the festive spirit!
Clean up
Join us in the middle of the day. Pitch in just as our early bird volunteers are starting to get tired by keeping the site clean and helping us pack up all the supplies at the end of the day.
To register your group and ensure all members are assigned together:
- Email us and we will create a customized registration form and page for you.
- Return to the walk volunteer homepage, click on the walk site of your choice then click “start a team” or “join a team” and follow the registration steps online.
Note: Every individual group member must register so we can plan appropriately.
